for everyone
I have been reading this thread in GirlTalk about this new salon in Legaspi Village called RAZZLE DAZZLE.  Surprisingly, the thread has reached 9 pages but there is not a single negative feedback on the salon's services.  But before anyone screams WHYYYYYYY??? (because I recently blogged about sort of wanting to grow my boy cut)...I've been contemplating on getting a transition cut to help me grow my hair again, this time into a neat bob

It just so happens that RAZZLE DAZZLE is located just somewhere behind my office building so yesterday I called to set an appointment for today during my lunch break.  I chose their stylist, Sunny, because everyone in the thread kept saying he's really good with short cuts.  So off I went and it took me between 5 and 7 minutes to find the place (along Rada Street).  I was warmly greeted by the staff and Sunny came to me a few seconds later.  He called me by my first name and we talked like old friends while he explained to me what he was doing.
I love the way he was so ma-chika and accommodating.  He agreed that I should try to grow my hair a bit and went into a frenzy about what I should do to it next time I drop by for a visit (i.e., highlights, volume rebonding etc etc).  He also sales talked me into having my hair treated and although I was shocked when I got my bill (I've never really spent too much on my hair before), I would have to say the experience was well worth it.  Now I can't wait to get those highlights!

Pardon the grainy quality of the photos...I had to take these in the bathroom
and the lighting was dim

By the way, their International Creative Director  (aka master stylist) is Singaporean (I think).  His name is Louis Kee and everyone who's tried him so far claims that he's a wizard!  I'm intrigued hehe but I love Sunny and I seriously want to keep going back to him until I achieve the hair length that I'm aiming for.

Very nice! He did a great job and I think with what he did to your hair, you'll find it easy to grow out. Can't wait to see the highlights on your next visit!

nice hair Patty! Louis Kee is great too! He used to be with Emphasis, my mom always have her hair cut by him. I had my hair cut by him too! ;)

Thank you for the compliments, girls! Louis charges a minimum of 1,200 yata for cuts depending on your hair's length. But Sunny cuts for just 600. There's another guy, Tom, whom they say is great with short hair, too, and charges less pa than Sunny.

Julie, now I remember! Parang I read nga somewhere that Zsa Zsa P. opened a salon.
Ting, can't wait to get my hair colored, too. I'm hoping I can go back next week if my workload will permit.
Jen, thanks for the note. I thought his accent was Singaporean hehe.
Joy, expert at camwhoring and mirrors in the banyo really helped haha!
Char, that's why Louis looked familiar, galing pala sya sa Emphasis. My Emphasis stylist doesn't know I made taksil =p

Nice hair and good choice of stylist Patty! Louis is nice too... when he did my hair, i wasn't expecting na ganon pa rin sya kaganda after I wash it. coz you know in some salons, after mo magpagupit lalo kapag layered ang ganda sa una but the next time you wash it, nyaaarrrkkk hindi na ganon hahaha.. but with Louis, ang galing! the price is worth it naman di ba? ....

600 si Sunny.

I think that's how it should be. The longer your hair gets, the better it should look. That's why when you really think of it, spending 1,000+ on a haircut is worth it din kasi you don't have to keep going back for a trim.

I love your new look, Patty! Do you think they do highlights to rebonded hair?
pattybee wrote on Feb 6, '08
Loi, I'm not too sure about that. Here's the salon's number, in case you want to ask : 8402880
